TODAY I FEEL: excited, worried, sad, happy...unexplainable!!!

SYNDROME OF THE MOMENT: the

"OH MY GOSH TOMORROW IS THE DAY WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!! THE SABAYANG PAGBIGKAS COMPETITION.....AAAAAAGGGGHH!!!!" syndrome

I'm going to tell you the happenings before I collapse because of too much excitement.

The Day Which is Tomorrow (haha!)
Premiere: August 26, 2004
Main Star: ME, of course!
Supporting Cast: All my friends, bigkasers, interpretative dancers...all of us!
Scenes to Watch out:

• We're going to wear our Filipiniana costume. Mine is a Maria Clara dress (gown?!) The kimona & bakya was I think still in the old times (read: years and years and years ago) so I think it gives a little something extra. Hehe. Maybe I can post the pictures next time.
• I reminded everyone to call me Rosita, since tomorrow is pure Filipino day so, I guess Karla is not suitable for tomorrow. No ROSE or ROSIE...just ROSITA. *wink*
• Our corridor and classroom decorations. We spent hours figuring out what to do with the dayami and leaves Mikka brought from Tarlac. We were going crazy just thinking of how we're going to set them all up. Finally, we finished it a while ago.
• The Pista Ng Bayan a.k.a. Eating time! Everyone is assigned to bring a native food (mine's Lechon Manok) and we're all going to share. Puto, kutsinta, palabok, kakanin...woohoo!
• AND OF COURSE: THE SABAYANG PAGBIGKAS!!! Our costumes were given to us yesterday, it's red and gray. Basta, parang sa pari...but kewel (cool!!!) I'll also try to post pics later on. Plus: I have my solo role. I'm the "criminal" who was caught escaping from jail. Then I'll be in the center during the Choco Bang commercial. That's my moment, my shining moment...so better watch out for that! Hehehehe....

SUSPENDED. Yup, the classes were suspended around 1:00 in our school but of course, the Bigkasers and Dancers stayed to practice. Since our costumes were given, we practiced in them. The dancers' costumes naman are green (as in Freshmen!) It was soo kee-yut. I felt so, uhm, "professional"...because we were actually official participants of the Buwan ng Wika. Haaaayy. This is what you get when you study at our school, so much excitement!!! And school spirit is on because everyone is busy doing their own jobs. The suspension of classes were in the right timing. It gave us time to practice more for our LAST SABAYAN PRACTICE.

DRAMA QUEEN. Of course, after tomorrow, no more practices, no more Ate Jona or Ate K-Anne or Ate Fhatz to coach us, no more vocalizations, no more bringing of PEs everyday...and even if you curse or kill me for this, I'm still gonna say this -- I'm going to miss the Sabayan and all the things that come with it. Kanina nga, when Mrs F gave them our token and our card, I felt a little senti. (NOTE: Tagalog words coming up...) As in sobrang, ang senti naming lahat. Kasi naman, kahit na minsan bad 3p sila, nakakamiss pa rin yung fact na araw-araw kayo magkakasama. Haaaaaaayy. I feel so -- I don't know. I'm really gonna miss the Sabayan.
