Tuesday, November 23, 2004 NO I'm not moving out of the country. I'm just moving -- to a new domain. I decided to move to Geocitiesweeks ago but it was only now that I was finally able to finish everything. I really feel kinda sad leaving Blogger, my first-ever host. But I guess I just have to move on...to a bigger place, so that I could expose myself more. I know you will miss my Karlatotz domain, but I promise, if you still want to call me that, it's okay. BTW, I'm not really planning on staying at Geocities for long. I'm also gonna be looking for a permanent host but I'll think about that later. Drop by my site, okay? http://www.geocities.com/lil_msnice11 http://www.geocities.com/lil_msnice11 http://www.geocities.com/lil_msnice11 http://www.geocities.com/lil_msnice11 http://www.geocities.com/lil_msnice11 http://www.geocities.com/lil_msnice11
Drop by okay?! Thanks
for the love you have given to Karlatotz. | |
----------- mud queen... Saturday, October 09, 2004 TODAY I FEEL: extremely adventurous!!! EAR CANDY: rain pouring, the dquishy sound of your feet stepping on mud, the water when you make "tampisaw" with your friends...in other words
LAUGH 3P: the word "balajuyjuy"! It means "gamol" or messy...and I must admit, after the trip, we were all balajuyjuys!!! SYNDROME OF THE MOMENT: the "Gravitational-force-loves-me" Syndrome
Okay first things first...
DEPARTURE. We left at around 5:30 in the morning. We were supposed to leave at 5:00 but then, a couple of students were late so we just had to wait for them (even though the teachers said they won't). Missy arrived (finally!) but she forgot to bring her Fossil bag which was where she placed her other important stuff. She was actually bad trip-ed, but then we cheered her up. The guide introduced herself and coincidentally, her name was Melissa too (Missy's real name is Melissa). She also introduced Kuya Perry and Kuya Joel. On the way she explained the maltreatment of some establishments and leisure parks (I'm not going to mention them as they might sue me or whatever) to animals and to nature. One of them are maltreating dolphins and separating these dolphins from their families that's why they die. It's sad to hear this news, especially because we went to this particular leisure park last year on our 6th grade field trip. Later on, they gave us a chart we need to fill out about the lakes. FIRST STOPOVER: PETRON STATION. Since most of us didn't have their breakfast yet, we stopped over at the Petron station along South Super Highway. We ate at McDonald's (we miss Domacs!!!). I ate hash brown & fries and drank the ever loyal Milo. I was listening to my iPod (specifically Gangsta Lovin' by Alicia Keys and Eve) in a very loud volume, so I wasn't really aware of the sounds around me. When Nica and Anile decided to go to the restroom, Mikka, Alex, Missy and I was left outside. Then a group of gays from a school also having their field trip, passed by (they were about to go to the guys' restroom). I made a very sarcastic remark (not worth mentioning!) in an UNCONSCIOUSLY LOUD VOICE (since I was listening to my iPod in a loud voice) and they heard me!!! OMG!!! It was so embarrassing...I immediately ran inside the restroom! Then Missy signalled me to run quickly to the bus before they went out. I'm not bad! onestly...whoever those guys (gays, I mean) are, I hope we never meet again, and I'm sorry!!! *sheesh* LAKES. We first went to the City Hall to get the facts about the lakes. Then we went to Sampaloc lake and got its temperature and pH scale. Then we went to the 2nd lake (I forgot the name!). We walked for a couple of minutes (It took us 400+ steps to go there) in mud, and saw the lake. Beside the lake was a tree with a big root and when I tried to climb the root, I fell butt first! Ouch! We took pictures then went back to the bus. Then we went to the third lake (I also forgot the name)and do you know how hard it is to get there??? It's like you have to completely go down this cliff full of slippery mud...and guess what? I fell! Obviously! It was so slippery...Kuya Perry said some people actually go there just to take a bath or do laundry! OMG! Actually going down that lake was more difficult because there's more chance of falling when you go down. We went back to our bus and had our lunch there. THEN THE FUN PART. The last 2 lakes, Pandin and Yamboc were next! We trekked for a long time (very very very) and it was even raining hard...so hard!!! We did it...and finally reached Pandin. We went rafting!!! Woohoo!!! It was so fun! There are 9 people in each raft and we sailed until we reached the middle of the lake. Then Kuya Bob allowed us to go down the raft. But we must hold on to the sides because we're in the very deep part already. They were even kidding us that there were crocodiles and anacondas there! After rafting, we went to Yamboc which was a FEW HILLS AWAY. But we really can't go down and see it up close because it's unaccessible to man. And because of that, it's the cleanest of all the lakes. On our way back to Pandin, I slid down the slope!!! Actually, I had two options: to go down BACKWARDS holding the rope or just slide down. I picked the latter since it's more of an adventure!!! Plus, I'd probably never experience doing that again so, why not?! We washed up at Pandin lake again, cleaned our white-turned-permanently-brown shoes and eewy-yucky-socks and trekked back to our bus. The "washing up" part was kinda useless since we got dirty again when we reached the bus. Now, the challenge: we must change our clothes, underwear and all INSIDE THE BUS!!! We closed all curtains and asked the guys (driver, Kuya Perry and Kuya Joel) to obviously, go out and boy is it fun!!! It's not very easy to remove your clothes and go half-naked...it's kinda ok because we're all girls but STILL there is a 95% chance that you'll be seen naked...haha! Fortunately, we all did it successfully and after that, we were all fresh again (although I wouldn't call it 100% fresh because we didn't take a bath and we only used alcohol to "clean" our bods. Fun? You decide.) OFFICIALLY WASTED. On our way home, we passed by Collette's first for pasalubong. Even though we changed already, we looked really wasted. But still, our smiles totally camouflaged it all. We were still fooling and joking around. After the pasalubong stop, it was time to go home. I slept for a few minutes while listening to my iPod when I was awakened by sobs. Turns out someone had a big fight with someone (i'm not gonna mention) so I was forced to move to the chair in the middle of two rows (you know what i'm talking about?). And since I was freezing cold I decided to extend my feet to the middle chair in front of me and sleep looking like a dead body. I wasn't able to sleep alright, but I was able to rest at least for some minutes. But I'm still freezing cold!!! My nails are turning gray! Kuya Joel decided to crack jokes when we were almost there, and everyone else was awake. We peacefully reached "Tipol" (that's what we call St. Paul) and hooray! WE SURVIVED.
